A Focused Exploration

There are periods in life when the identity that once gave us direction no longer feels complete. This work helps you understand what may be changing beneath the surface, and what your psyche may be asking you to recognize next.

“The life you built may still be valuable, even as it becomes too small for the person you are becoming.”

WAYS TO WORK TOGETHER

Choose the depth of experience you need.

Begin with a focused private conversation, enter a more structured exploration of the midlife passage, or join the list for the upcoming Symbolic Living course.

Ways to work together

You may leave with

  • A clearer understanding of your current transition

  • Language for feelings or patterns that seemed confusing

  • A new perspective on the conflict beneath the surface

  • Specific areas for continued reflection

  • A more grounded sense of your next psychological step

This private session is for individuals who feel that something in their life is shifting beneath the visible circumstances.

You may be questioning your direction, feeling disconnected from an identity that once felt natural, repeating patterns you do not fully understand, or sensing that the life you created no longer reflects the whole of who you are.

THE DEEPER JOURNEY
The Soul's Journey
Through Midlife
Course
Understand the psychological transition beneath the visible crisis.
Midlife is often described through its external symptoms: dissatisfaction, anxiety, relationship changes, career questions, restlessness, or the desire to begin again.
Depth psychology asks a different question: What is the psyche attempting to communicate through this disruption?
What this course is designed to offer?

A psychologically grounded framework for understanding midlife, language for the forces shaping your experience, structured reflection, and a more mature relationship with uncertainty.

The goal is not to dismantle the life you have built. It is to understand what has become too limited, what still belongs to you, and what may need to develop next.

A Live, Personalized Course
A different approach to midlife

The Midlife Course is a live, small-group educational experience offered either in person or through Zoom. It approaches midlife not as a crisis to fix, but as a developmental transition in which an old identity may no longer be sufficient and neglected parts of the psyche begin asking for attention.

Each session combines Jungian and depth psychological teaching with discussion, reflection, and shared learning. I remain actively present throughout the course, answering questions and responding to what emerges within the group.

The core framework remains consistent, but each cohort is different. I adapt the emphasis, examples, discussions, dream work, and reflective exercises to the experiences and needs of the participants.

This course may be good for you if
  • You built a successful life that no longer feels fully meaningful

  • You are questioning who you are beyond roles and responsibilities

  • You feel caught between who you have been and who you are becoming

  • Old ambitions no longer motivate you in the same way

  • You notice recurring patterns in relationships, work, or self-worth

  • You sense that something is missing but cannot identify it

  • You want more than motivational advice or quick solutions

  • You are ready to examine your life with honesty and psychological depth

What Makes the Course Distinctive

  • A unique Jungian curriculum created specifically for midlife, exploring persona, shadow, complexes, the unlived life, dreams, symbolism, meaning, and individuation.

  • Live teaching in a small group, offered in person or through Zoom, rather than as a pre-recorded course.

  • Real-time dialogue, reflection, and dream tending that allow the course to respond to the needs of each cohort.

  • A live learning environment that can support psychological healing, emotional integration, and meaningful inner change.

  • Jungian ideas translated into relationships, identity, work, family roles, and everyday experience.

  • A multicultural perspective informed by Western depth psychology and familiarity with Eastern and Indigenous traditions of psyche and symbolic living.

What Makes the Course Distinctive

  • A deeper understanding of what your midlife transition may be asking of you.

  • Greater awareness of the unconscious patterns shaping your choices and relationships.

  • A clearer sense of which roles and identities you may have outgrown.

  • Practical ways to relate to dreams, symbols, and the deeper language of the psyche.

  • Greater clarity, meaning, confidence, and inner direction for the next stage of life.

What we will explore in
Soul's Journey Through Midlife

A FOCUSED EXPLORATION

Why midlife can feel psychologically disorienting even when nothing is obviously wrong, and how to distinguish an external crisis from an internal developmental transition.

How family, culture, ambition, survival, and social expectation shape the identity that helps us build a life, and why that identity may eventually become too narrow.

The choices, sacrifices, capacities, desires, and paths that remained outside the life you consciously developed, and why they often return with urgency in midlife.

How rejected or unrecognized parts of the personality appear through emotional reactions, idealization, resentment, attraction, conflict, and the people who carry unusual psychological charge for us.

How emotionally charged inner patterns can temporarily overtake our perspective and influence relationships, decisions, self-worth, and our sense of what is possible.

Why external accomplishment can stop providing the same psychological nourishment, and how emptiness may signal the need for a different relationship with purpose and value.

How dreams, images, synchronicities, recurring themes, fantasies, and meaningful conflicts may reveal dimensions of experience that rational analysis alone cannot reach.

Moving beyond a life organized primarily around approval, performance, and collective expectation toward a more conscious relationship with your own inner authority.

COMING SOON

Symbolic Living

An upcoming course for people who want to develop a deeper relationship with archetypes, myth, symbols, synchronicity, imagination, dreams and the unseen patterns shaping their lives.

This course is currently in development. It will explore how symbolic awareness can reconnect us with meaning without escaping reality or turning every experience into a sign.
